We understand the varying needs and resources of organizations and can tailor our services to meet those needs. We offer specific research components, such as designing the survey methodology and sample frame and can conduct the entire research project from design to analysis and reporting.

Some of our core services include: 

Methodology/Sampling Design – We have experience in designing research methodologies, developing sampling frame and are able to propose solutions for low resource projects to maintain quality data collection.  

Household Surveys – We have expertise in designing and adapting research instruments to fit the Cambodian cultural context, representative sampling techniques, and the capacity and expertise to conduct large-scale household surveys in even remote regions.

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) – With a strong background in M&E, Angkor Research supports clients to establish M&E frameworks and systems, including developing and defining baseline indicators and the design and implementation of impact evaluations.

Impact Evaluations – Angkor Research specializes in the design and implementation of rigorous and longitudinal impact evaluations, characterized by thorough designs and methodologies, and effective control groups. 

Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods – Our team has extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including household surveys, anthropometric measuring, focus group discussions, participant observation and in-depth interviews.

Data Verification – 

Technical Training – Angkor Research designs and delivers a wide range of workshops and training activities for our clients. We have provided training on impact evaluations, research ethics, social research, instrument design, interview techniques and M&E system design and implementation. 

Knowledge Dissemination – Angkor Research assists our clients and project stakeholders in turning newly acquired knowledge into evidence-based policy recommendations and practical plans of action. We can help to integrate lessons learned into staff training, strategic plans and project designs.
