Impact Evaluation of Food Provision on Garment Workers
Some pictures from the baseline data collection activities for the Impact Evaluation of Food Provision on Garment Workers’ Health and Productivity. This 1.5 year project looks at the effects of factory-provided food supplements on the lives of Cambodian garment workers. Angkor Research is proud to partner with ILO (International Labor Organization), AFD (French Development Agency) and 9 different factories from the Better Factories Cambodia (BFC) project to conduct this important research. The results will be shared with policy and decision-makers from both public and private institutions, and used to improve the lives of Cambodian workers. In this baseline survey, field staff interviewed 3,900 workers in 4 weeks of fieldwork – an average of over 45 interviews per day! Thanks to Supervisors Kimhorth, Kren Bopha and Kamao Sous, Editors Sophal Lev, Mol Soy and Veasna Chhorn and all the Interviewers for their hard work.
